How to verify the APK.

Verification is a two-minute check that protects you from a tampered APK. The desk recommends it for any download outside the Play store.

  1. Download the APK from this page.
  2. Compute the SHA-256 of the file: sha256sum jeeto11.apk on Linux or macOS, or use a verified checksum tool on Windows.
  3. Compare the output with the SHA-256 published above.
  4. If the strings match, install the APK. If they do not, do not install and contact Customer Care.

You can also verify the signing certificate fingerprint. The fingerprint is published above and does not change across releases. Android verifies the signature automatically at install time; the published fingerprint is your cross-check.

How to install on Android.

Before installing an APK from outside the Play store, Android requires you to allow installation from unknown sources for the browser or file manager you are using. The setting lives under Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps.

  1. Open the APK file from the notification shade or the Downloads folder.
  2. Confirm the permission prompt.
  3. The install completes in under a minute on a modern device.
  4. Open the app, sign in with your phone number, and complete the one-time password verification.

You can disable the unknown-sources setting after the install. The Jeeto11 app does not require it to run.

Is the APK safe?

The APK is signed with the Jeeto11 production key. The signature is verified by Android at install time; the published SHA-256 is your cross-check.

What if the install fails?

The most common cause is a previously installed version signed with a different key. Uninstall the previous version and retry.

How do I roll back to an earlier version?

Earlier versions are not officially supported. The current release is the only version the operator will service.

Does the APK auto-update?

APKs installed from outside the Play store do not auto-update. The app will notify you when a new release is available; you can install it manually.

Where do I report an APK issue?

The Customer Care page lists the channels for APK issues, including a working email and an in-app channel.
