Play responsibly. Read this first.

A plain-English note on responsible play: weekly caps, deposit limits, self-exclusion, and the support organisations that can help if the entertainment stops being entertainment.

Principles

Five principles for responsible play.

  1. Treat the spend as entertainment. The weekly contest budget is the entertainment budget it actually is. It is not an investment; it is not income.
  2. Set a weekly cap before your first contest. Decide in advance. Stick to it.
  3. Do not chase losses. If a contest does not go your way, take a break. Do not enter another contest to recover the loss.
  4. Do not play under stress. If you are tired, upset, or under the influence of alcohol or other substances, do not play.
  5. Watch for the warning signs. Hiding spend from family, borrowing to play, missing work or study to play — these are signs that the entertainment has stopped being entertainment.
Tools

The tools Jeeto11 provides.

The Jeeto11 app includes the following responsible-play tools:

  • Weekly deposit cap. Set a maximum weekly deposit amount. The cap is enforced by the wallet.
  • Session time limit. Set a maximum session length. The app reminds you when the session exceeds the limit.
  • Self-exclusion. Disable deposits and contest entries for a fixed period (1 week, 1 month, 6 months, or permanent). The exclusion is not reversible during the period.

The tools are available in the app under Settings → Responsible Play. The desk recommends setting them before your first contest.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion.

Self-exclusion is the most powerful responsible-play tool. When you self-exclude:

  • Deposits are blocked for the exclusion period.
  • Contest entries are blocked for the exclusion period.
  • Withdrawals are still processed (you can settle the wallet balance).
  • The exclusion is not reversible during the period.

Self-exclusion is set in the app under Settings → Responsible Play → Self-exclusion. The desk recommends a 1-month exclusion as the minimum effective period.

Support

Support organisations.

If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling-related harm, the following organisations provide free, confidential support:

  • National Problem Gambling Helpline (India): available 24/7. The desk republishes the current number on this page; the most reliable reference is the operator’s responsible-play page in the app.
  • iCall: a free psychosocial support helpline run by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Available Monday-Saturday, 8 AM to 10 PM.
  • Vandrevala Foundation: a 24/7 mental health helpline. Multilingual support available.

The desk is not a substitute for professional support. If you are in crisis, please reach out.

FAQ

Five questions on responsible play.

How do I set a weekly deposit cap?

Settings → Responsible Play → Weekly deposit cap. The cap is enforced by the wallet.

Can I change my weekly cap?

You can lower the cap at any time. Raising the cap has a 7-day cooling-off period.

How long does self-exclusion last?

You choose the period: 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, or permanent. The exclusion cannot be reversed during the period.

Can I still withdraw during self-exclusion?

Yes. Self-exclusion blocks deposits and contest entries; withdrawals are still processed.

Is the desk a substitute for professional support?

No. The desk publishes the support organisations above as a starting point. If you are struggling, please reach out to a professional.
